Terrorism: The Rising Threat to World at Large

Today, I couldn't simply stop myself from writing about terrorism. Every now and then we hear so much about terrorists creating havoc in different parts of the world. What good do terrorists do? Nothing. They are here only to make the life of the people hell. (I am sorry if I have used offensive words against them), but I really mean it rather than being over-expressive.

Whenever I sit down comfortably on my bed to watch something nice on TV, I end up seeing families crying over the dead bodies of their loved ones or houses burnt, properties devastated and what not? I can well understand the claims of the terrorists or 'jihadis' as they call themselves in the Muslim world. They are furious because the West, especially America (the most powerful country in the world) has repeatedly tried to control them and humiliated their people. These jehadis don’t trust their governments, for example Pakistan or Afghanistan. They state that governments are actually servants of USA, dancing at their tunes and torturing innocent citizens.

As a protest against them, secret armed groups have been created and named as Talibans, Al Quadas and Mujahiddins. These groups are masters in their own account in the sense they have a strong network of people scattered all over the region. They get regular supply of arms to keep their mission alive. These men don’t even think twice in pushing their sons in the battle field or making small children take up guns. Such is their sense of hatred towards the government in particular and western world in general.

These anti-government groups are becoming stronger day by day. The main reason is the supply of latest arms and ammunitions from different sources. I really don’t know who these sources are, but I can guess well. They are no one but the major political groups and parties of a country who by providing them arms and raging them against the government will be benefited the most. Their dream of forming a fresh new government will be accomplished if the jihadis somehow make the common men hate the government.

But this is not simply the case. These terrorist groups have a large network operating in God knows which not part of the world. These men are really smart guys. They use computers and laptops and have relevant news in the tip of their fingers. They chalk out well draft plans to kill high-end diplomats or create a panic among common people in some busy street or market place. These jihadis have men ready to die (as suicide bomber) at any time in the name of Islam or freedom of the country.
